Reverend  Ralph Colicchio

Reverend Ralph Colicchio was born on July 28, 1940 in Waterbury , Connecticut .  He studied for the priesthood at St. Thomas Seminary in Bloomfield , CT and Christ the King Seminary at St. Bonaventure University in Olean , NY .  He was ordained a priest at St. Joseph Cathedral in Hartford , CT on May 4, 1967 .

 Fr. Ralph served as parrochial vicar in various churches of the Hartford Achdiocese from 1967 – 1980.  He was then appointed as a co-pastor of St. Mary Magdalen parish in Oakville , CT until 1990.  After that appointment, he served as a chaplain at Hartford Hospital until 1994 and obtained his certification from the National Association of Catholic Chaplains in 1995.   From 1994 – 1998, he was the director of Catholic chaplaincy for Yale New Haven Hospital. .   

Subsequent to his chaplaincy assignments, The Archdiocese of Hartford appointed Fr. Ralph as pastor of the linked parishes of St. Elizabeth (Branford) and St. Clare ( East Haven ).  In 2003, he was assigned as parochial vicar of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Hamden , CT until April, 2008 when he was assigned pastor to the linked parishes of St. Anthony and St. Michael in New Haven .
